Fujifilm 400 is a medium-speed color negative film that's great for most general-purpose photography. At double the film speed of Fujifilm 200, you get a little more versatility in mixed lighting along with slightly more visible grain. 
 
We recommend rating Fujifilm 400 between 200 and 400.
